“Maya is adapting really well and Dooli, while initially a little jealous, is playing together with her with their balls. I will get some more photos together to send to you shortly, I’ve attached a pic of them walking together yesterday.
Maya is a very clever little girl with lots of energy. We were using a diaper a few times because she had a few accidents. She didn’t like the diapers and would tear them off! Her house training is much better now and we usually walk the dogs about 5 times a day. Dooli is also teaching her. The very first day she tried to take his food, but he taught her
that this was not acceptable by barking at her. So she learned and hasn’t tried to take his food since then……We are working on getting her up and
down stairs in the house. She goes up and down the front steps easily, but doesn’t like steps inside the house so we are carrying her up and down
for now.”
