” Hi!
It is nice to hear from you, we are all doing well. Thank you.
Alex is doing great! He is enjoying our backyard already, within the first three days we have let him up on the bed, so he has started to sleep there with us.
He and Mamas get along very well but she is protective of her toys and doesn’t like to share very much.
I brought him to our vet just for an introduction and she said that he is a happy and healthy dog.
It’s funny if Mamas starts to bark at the TV, he will start to howl a bit.
Please feel free to contact me at anytime.
Thank you. ”

“It has been nearly two months to the day since Uno became a member of our family and he is doing great!
As I mentioned, our vet said that he is a happy and healthy dog. I was a little concerned that he was a bit underweight but the vet said his weight is good. I think maybe I’m just so used to seeing our other Shih Tzu, she is about 16 lbs.! Uno is just over 10 lbs.
As you might be able to tell from some of the pictures, I think that Uno thinks he is a cat! He is very good balance and insists on walking on the very edge of the bed, and he hasn’t fallen once! He constantly lays and naps on top on the back of the couch.
He gets very excited in the morning for breakfast. He is excited for dinner as well but not like he is for breakfast! He jumps around and runs in circles and just can’t wait to eat!
We have a lot of toys around the house and have bought Uno his own to play with, but sticking to true Shih Tzu fashion, Mamas will get up and take whatever he is chewing from him! She still thinks everything in the house is hers and she doesn’t want to share.
He has come a long way in terms of only peeing outside, though we still have some minor accidents inside the house from time to time.
He can hear other dogs out of the window from half way down the street! He will bark just once or twice but stops when told to, the only probably is that sets off his sister and she never stops! They are a good pair though, and we are all very happy to have Uno as a part of the family and we are very glad that all these dogs have people like you and Helen to help them out.
Please let me know if the attached pictures will work for you, If not I can send more.
I will keep in touch, feel free to contact me at any time.”
